Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This robotic vacuum-mop is an excellent choice for those living in apartments since it uses an economized docking system and has its own garbage bin. The app allows you to set different modes and monitor cleaning and mopping. The mopping feature impresses.
Its mapping, obstacle avoidance, and the mops are stunning. It is able to pick pet hair, spills, and dirt. It also self-empties and self-cleans and replenishes its water tank.
iRobot Roomba Combination
The iRobot Combo is a robot that can mop and vacuum. The iRobot Combo doesn't quite replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient and comes with an app for mobile devices that is more user-friendly, but it's a good alternative. In our tests it was consistently able to remove dirt of all kinds and sizes from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance isn't as advanced as other systems, like LiDAR and structured light, but it is able to avoid most collisions.
The Combo features most of the same smarts as the j7 Plus with the addition of new onboard acoustic sensors to determine the floor's type and AI-powered navigation. However, it lacks the ability to set suction power manually. It's also less compact than its vac-only counterpart, and doesn't come with a self-empty dock.
The Combo is one of my top choices for most homes. Its elegant design is also among the best I've seen in the market. The clean matte black plastic appears superior to the competition's metallic or glossy finishes, and iRobot's little touches--like a leather tab to open the bin on the board and a shelf inside the dock to store extra bags--are classier than a lot of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo makes it easy to create maps and set up Keep-Out Zones.
Roborock
Roborock, a relatively new player in the robotic vacuum and mop market, has already established itself with a suite innovative cleaning technologies. Roborock's vacuums are world-class in suction, while its mopping systems use vibrating mops to keep floors of dirt. Furthermore, a range of mapping and scheduling options lets you adjust the bot's cleaning schedule for your specific home.
Another outstanding Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance that allows the robot to see objects smaller than its height. This is particularly beneficial for Roborock's most well-known models, like the Qrevo Master. It is the top of its kind in terms of navigation, thanks to vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been known to run over pet faeces and slam furniture, without even noticing. The Qrevo Master however, addresses this problem by using an AI system called Reactive that uses dual cameras to perceive the presence of objects in a room.
Roborock robots also have a number of convenience features that make it easier to manage day-to-day maintenance. Best robot vacuum cleaner UK include auto-empty docks, as well as multi-functional mop washing stations. These make it easier to manually empty dustbins and wash mops, making for an entirely hands-free ownership experience. In addition the app's minimalist layout and fast connection to the robot makes it simple to use.
Hobot Legee D8
Hobot Legee, with its broad variety of integrated cleaning features and advanced mopping features, is among the top robot vacuums/mops that can be used on dry and wet floors. Its advanced navigation system combines 5 technologies to plan and create a route that is most efficient. It can also recognize various flooring materials and obstacles with precision. robot vacuum cleaner uk can lift its body up to 7mm in order to glide over carpets. The intelligent spray system uses the proper amount of water to wash away staining without leaving ugly water marks.
The Legee, a Gen 4 Robot, competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both robots cost more. It comes with more features than either of them, including the more flexible D-shaped body that cleans the corners and under cabinets better than a round one. Its sensors include 360deg (3D) (Lidar Encoder Gyro and E-compass) four forward-facing sensors, 1 right-side-facing (IR ToF distance sensors) and two pairs of cliff detectors both front and rear (most robots have only one pair). It also includes Legee SLAM to help reduce the bump-andgrind issues that are a problem for Gen 4 robots.
The Legee is distinct from other robots in that it has a trash compactor built-in and operates on the quieter 5 GHz band of Wi-Fi. The LuLu mop washing station is included and can wash, refill and dries your mop 'cloth. This means that you can use it for up to six times longer than other mops. It also reduces the amount of waste and frequency at the frequency of emptying bins.
Karcher RCV 5
Known for its pressure washers and garden tools, Karcher has been dabbling in robot vacuums for quite a while, and it's the most technologically advanced model. It can create maps for your home using LiDAR and can be programmed to vacuum or mop. It can also detect the distinction between carpets and hard floors, so that you don't get water puddles on your precious pile.

Its navigation is top-notch, avoiding furniture and rugs with ease and even lifting itself over steps. The robot can be customized by adjusting a range of settings including cleaning schedules and rooms it must be cleaning. It also has a handy 'emergency' button that will make the robot return to its base when it is running out of power and it can also be set to automatically turn itself off if the weather is forecast to be stormy.
The RCV 5 is easy to use and, despite being hefty at nearly 4kg, it's not difficult to maneuver around furniture. Safety features such as sensors that warn it to stay clear of stairs will be appreciated by parents with small children. After charging it takes only a few hours to recharge and the two buttons on top will turn green to signal it is ready for action.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner blends modern technology with a low price. It's a competitor to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. Despite its lower price tag it is worth the price. Mova E30 Ultra offers features that other models cannot compete with. It uses sensors to adjust the settings to different surfaces and floors, as well as to identify areas that are more prone to dirt. It also moves at a a slower pace to prevent the destruction of furniture and walls.
The device can map your home's interior that you can view in the app. You can also mark specific areas and objects you want the vacuum to stay away from. The vacuum will slow down when it spots an obstacle and prevent itself from hitting it. It also comes with a smart dustbin that alerts you when it's full, so you can empty it on time.
The Mova E30 Ultra offers a cost-effective option for those who want to delegate their daily cleaning tasks. It doubles as mop and robot vacuum which allows you to keep your floors clean without having to lift a finger. It also features a clever design that boosts the efficiency of cleaning corners by up to 60%. It has suction power of up to 7,000 Pa and RoboSwing arm, and is controlled by the app or voice assistants such as Alexa or Siri.
Beko RCV3
The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RCV3 is a sleek, feature-packed vacuum and mop. It does a great job at keeping floors clean and tidy. It's not able to lift its mop to clean carpets or rugs as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, however, it is extremely effective at cleaning hard floors. It also comes with a self-emptying bin, delivers an adequate amount of suction power, and offers several mopping options, and is operated by a high-end app that is compatible with both iOS and Android.
It's a bit smaller than the other models and its main brush is shorter however, it did to do a good job in our test room. The brush that rotates on the side that is used for edges is a nice feature and, while it didn't lift dirt from our rugs and carpets like some of the competitors however, it did a decent job overall.
The device can be programmed with individual cleaning parameters for each room. It then creates detailed maps using the built-in LiDAR navigation. It's easy to control using the app and a range of voice output options can inform you about the condition of your home robot. Regular software updates improve and extend the performance. The application can be used to remotely manage the RCV3 even when you are away from home.
